Description:

On 2 April 2014, AAII received a notice of a R22 helicopter incident at LKPN from the aircraft operator. The pilot intended to take a flight to LKBE. Shortly after the take-off, a failure of an engine cooling fan occurred. The pilot interrupted the climb immediately and decided to take a precautionary landing at the take-off aerodrome. During the descent he noticed that the engine temperatures reached the maximum value. He made a safe landing.
